🔥 How to Come to Jesus

No filters. No perfection. Just real truth and real freedom.

🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ Why Does This Matter?

Let’s get straight to it:
This life isn’t forever—and neither is your pain, confusion, or searching.
We were all created for something eternal. Something more.

The biggest question you’ll ever ask is this:
👉 “How do I come to Jesus?”
Because how you answer that changes your forever.

Whether you’re totally new to this or you grew up around church but never made it personal—this moment could be your turning point.

🚧 What’s the Problem?

Let’s be real—we all mess up. Every one of us.

📖 “Everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” — Romans 3:23

Sin isn’t just “doing bad stuff.”
It’s living life without God.
It’s choosing our way over His—and we’ve all done it.

The problem? Sin separates us from God.
And that separation leads to death—spiritually and eternally.

📖 “The wages of sin is death…” — Romans 6:23
📖 “Because of sin, we are dead in our spirit.” — Ephesians 2:1

But here’s the good news…

✝️ What Did God Do About It?

God made a way.
He didn’t wait for you to “clean up.” He came for you while you were still broken.

Jesus Christ—God in human form—stepped into our mess, lived a perfect life, and then died in our place.

📖 “The Son gave His life for the sheep.” — John 10:15
📖 “He was crushed for our sins… and by His wounds, we are healed.” — Isaiah 53:5

Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead, proving He has power over sin and death.
He made a way back to God—for you.

🙌 So… How Do I Come to Jesus?

It’s not about religion. It’s about a real relationship.

📖 “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” — Acts 16:31

It’s simple:

✅ Admit you’ve sinned
✅ Believe Jesus died and rose again for you
✅ Commit to trust Him with your life

📖 “God saved you by His grace when you believed. It is a gift—not a reward for the good things we’ve done.” — Ephesians 2:8–9

🎁 It’s a gift, not something you earn.

🙏 Ready to Make It Real?

If you’re feeling that tug in your heart, this is your moment.
You can say something like this:

“Jesus, I know I need You. I believe You died and rose again for me. I turn from my way and give You my life. Thank You for saving me. Please lead me from now on. I’m Yours.”

That prayer doesn’t save you—Jesus does.
But it’s how you express your faith and say “yes” to Him.

🌱 What Happens Next?

You’re not signing up for perfection. You’re starting a journey.

💡 Start growing in small ways:

  • 🎧 Listen to Bible apps or Christian podcasts
  • 🎵 Play worship music on your way to work or school
  • 🎬 Watch faith-based films like The Chosen or Jesus Revolution
  • 🙏 Say short prayers like “Jesus, help me today”
  • 📖 Read one verse a day—start in John or Psalms
  • 👥 Find a church that teaches the Word

📖 “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” — Philippians 1:6

🚩 Pitfalls to Watch Out For

Don’t chase perfection. God’s grace is for growing people, not perfect people.

Don’t isolate. Find others walking with Jesus. You were never meant to do this alone.

Don’t fake it. God wants your real self—flaws, questions, and all.

Don’t compare. You’re not on anyone else’s timeline. Trust God with your story.
