Malcolm Sykes is a dedicated preacher, educator, and advocate for spiritual growth, illuminating the lives of those in Central New Jersey with his unwavering faith and commitment to service. Graduating from DeVry University in 2012 with a degree in Network & Communication Management, Malcolm initially embarked on a career path in technology. However, his profound calling to ministry redirected his life’s trajectory towards a deeper purpose.

Driven by an insatiable hunger for spiritual knowledge and a desire to serve his community, Malcolm pursued theological education at Cairn University. In December 2016, he proudly graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Bible, his journey marked by academic excellence and a deepening understanding of scripture and theological principles.

Throughout his academic pursuits, Malcolm demonstrated exceptional dedication and scholarly prowess. His coursework in Biblical Hermeneutics, Communication of Scripture, Critical Reading and Writing, and various theological studies reflected his commitment to excellence and his thirst for knowledge.

Embracing his calling with fervor, Malcolm Sykes became licensed to preach in September 2016. His sermons, resonating with wisdom, compassion, and profound understanding of scripture, have left an indelible mark on the hearts and souls of many. Notably, his Trial Sermon on September 11, 2016, titled “Excuse Me, I’m Walking on Water Here!!” drew from Matthew 14:29-31, delivering a powerful message on the significance of stepping out in faith despite risks, echoing the resilience embodied in the date itself.

Beyond the pulpit, Malcolm served as a dedicated Sunday school teacher, nurturing the spiritual growth of both children and adults. His commitment to education and his love for singing found expression through his involvement in various choirs over the years.

This captivating series invites individuals on an extraordinary journey of self-discovery, drawing inspiration from a treasure trove of motivational biblical verses and quotes from visionaries like TD Jakes, Tony Robbins, and Langston Hughes. Each week, participants delve into the intricate tapestry of human potential, igniting flames of courage, faith, and determination. Echoing Joshua’s resolute command to stand steadfast, the series guides participants to tap into their inner strength and unwavering courage.
